“Reports of My Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated,” said Mark Twain.
And said the data center.
The data center is not dead. It is maturing, changing and shifting to meet the new world of a hybrid environment. Many people who have been focused on the cloud have been of the opinion that the data center business was dead.
In fact, the words “hybrid” and “multi-cloud” were dirty words within the walls of AWS.
As of Monday last week, that argument that been put to rest, once and for all. With the announcement of AWS Landing Zones and AWS Outposts, the data center is alive and well.
